That's a good question. Most Artists I know of don't have Agents
regardless of Disability. Mostly because the more people you bring into
the equation the less money the Artist makes. For example, you have a
painting you want to sell for $300.00 An agent would likely find an Art
Gallery or similar place to show your work. The Art Gallery most likely
would charge 50%. This cuts your profit in half already. If you pay
an agent, there fee would come out of that as well, probably 10-15% or whatever
they charge. That's why most Artists sell there online or through word of
mouth. Entering contests and things like that is a good way to go too.
When I finally get everything done and caught up I will start working on
the website again so I can build you a webpage. In the meantime, link to
your portfolio via fb and make as many friends as you can and please join us on
the other network too. :)

Thank you for this advise. I have thought of starting a web page but the
cost is beyond my means at the present time. and I am new to this
computer thing and have no idea how to set it up. Once again Thank
you. |

I will be working on getting DisabledArtistsNetwork.net working again and will
be making web pages for Artists again. It will take some time as it is a
Mega Site but if you can email me at DanOfficeUSA@gmail.com I will give you
some info on something that will help you in the meantime.

Does anyone have suggestions of how to get an Agent pay attention and be willing to represent them. Are there agents out there who work with Disabled persons?
