I am an artist to my core, so that my clothes, fingers and hands commonly have little paint or ink stains. I am a gardener, so I measure the seasons by how callused and rough my hands and dark is the dirt under my nails. I am a naturalist –in that I feel that there is nothing more precious than wild space, vast and vibrant and we have an obligation to live in nature not contrary to it. That is why I have surrounded myself and family with it. Our home sits within a large and very ancient oak hammock forrest. Where fox, otters, owls, and flying squirrels can be found with ease

I hold a BA-FA from Sheffield University, A certificate as a professional picture framer, specializing in conservation, a certificate in art preservation from the Smithsonian Institute. And numerous other pieces of velum that attest to my abilities to meet academic standards. I started showing my artwork as a teenager and had my first one man show in 1989 at "the ART" a Gallery in Gainesville Fl. But none of that tells you who I am, what I value or what I deem my legacy.
